Domaine Fouassier Père & Fils to give them their full title have been making wine in the Sancerre region of the Loire valley for ten generations. The estate comprises of 40 hectares (100 acres) of Sauvignon Blanc and 10 hectares (25 acres) of Pinot Noir. All their wines are made in as natural way as possible and in harmony with the different soils. Each terroir clay/chalky, chalky, or siliceous will produce wines of a different style, hence the range we are pleased to stock.
Their guiding principle is - respect the terroir. They do it very successfully.
