This is one of the great wines of South Africa. Made purely from estate grown cabernet sauvignon by Giles Webb. It has had 20 months in French Oak, 50% of which is new. It is typical of the style Giles has tried to maintain with mint, chocolate and blackcurrant on the nose that is also on the palate. It is very long and although quite stern now it will soften from 2008 onwards. It will make wonderful drinking for the next 20 years
