The grapes for this wine were picked between 11th and 23rd September 2001. Although the label says that the wine is Merlot it has 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc. It is really a bordeaux blend. The wine was aged in combination of french and american oak barrels.
The wine is rich with dark fruits such as plum blackcurrant. It has a velvety texture with a hint of dark chocolate.
