62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot & 5% Petit Verdot This beautifully-situated estate with vines lying next to Ducru Beaucaillou, Branaire Ducru and Langoa Barton was purchased by Bruno Borie of Château Ducru Beaucaillou last year. 2005 is his first vintage and the wine has a lovely, rich, juicy texture with vibrant red and black fruit flavours. Harmonious with the accent on fruit, this will be aged in 20% new oak and will undoubtedly become more expensive as it becomes better known. Drink 2011-2020.
